Shakti Foods was established in the year 1992, founder Shri D.L Shah. Being an expert at Amla or Sweet Emblica ( a more scientific term) based products Shri D.L Shah, popularly known as Dhanjibhai, wanted to introduce health related products. His expertise led to innovations of products which could be defined as the first of its kind health products.

Dhanjibhai's visionary of a healthy world, could be fulfilled with the inception of Shakti Foods. His rigorous research work led to a pioneering product - Amla Juice ( a pure and natural form of Aounla or Sweet Emblica), a drink that is 100% Pure and Natural form of Sweet Emblica i.e, Amla. It is full of Vitamin 'C", one of the most essential vitamins for a healthy body.

Shakti Foods purely concentrates on health drinks and herbal products. The continued Research & Development carried on by Dhanjibhai has helped introduce innumerable products which again could be termed as the first of its kind.
Dhanjibhai's two sons - M.D Shah and A.D Shah soon teamed up with Dhanjibhai, to look forward to make Shakti Foods one of the pioneers in the health care industry. The elder son started looking after the factory at Lonavala, Maharashtra and the younger son Shri A.S Shah started looking after the Super Market Store at the famous Shakti Junction, Lonavla.

The teamed up effort and incessant R & D in Shakti Foods has helped the company to be recognized today as 'Specialists in Amla and other Herbal Products' in the health care industry. Apart from the Amla health drinks, there are various hair care products and other herbal products which have an edge over existing products in the market, because of better quality.
